Useful For
Screening tool as part of a routine health exam, or to confirm a hematologic disorder, establish or rule out a diagnosis, detect an unsuspected hematologic disorder, or to monitor effects of radiation or chemotherapy treatment.
Slide review by technologist will be performed when reflexed based on defined criteria. In addition, hematopathology consultation will be reflexed based on further defined criteria.
