Testing Locations: Samples for post-vasectomy testing may be dropped off
at Bronson Outpatient Testing in downtown Kalamazoo, Bronson Laboratory in Battle Creek.

Please note:
A condom or soft, plastic container or bag is not acceptable
Specimen Volume: Entire ejaculate
Specimen Transport Temperature/Stability:
- The optimal specimen is tested within 2 hours
after collection. This allows for the evaluation of
motility. Samples rec’d after 2 hours of
collection will only be evaluated for the presence of sperm.
- Specimens for the determination of presence of
sperm are stable for up to 24 hours at room
temperature. Note: Refrigeration of samples
delivered to lab more than 2 hours after collection is not a cause
for rejection.
