Useful For
Approximately 10% of patients with pyuria show a differential leukocyte count in which 6-33% of the leukocytes were eosinophils.
Among the disease states which may cause increased urine eosinophiluria are:
- Kidney transplantation and rejection
- Papillary necrosis
- Interstitial nephritis
- Allergic conditions of the urinary tract
