Test Code UD8 or LAB2275 Drug Screen 8, Urine

Important Note

Drug screens performed at Bronson Laboratory are for medical purposes only. No chain of custody or specimen adulteration testing is performed. All positive results are presumptive. A presumptive positive means that this screening method is positive. A more specific alternative method must be used to obtain a confirmed analytical result. Confirmatory testing is available on request through our reference lab, Mayo. Clinical consideration and professional judgment should be applied to any drug of abuse test result, particularly with presumptive positive results.

If employment/legal drug screening is required, contact ProHealth Management Services at 269-341-7547.

Test ID Methodology Comment
UAMP

This assay detects amphetamine and methamphetamine at levels of 500 ng/mL and above. It also detects MDMA (Ecstasy) at levels of 200 ng/mL and above.

Note: Labetalol and trazodone may also cause positive results with this drug screen.

UBARB

This assay detects secobarbital at 200 ng/mL and higher. Phenobarbital, pentobarbital, and other barbiturate compounds are also detectable.

UBENZ

This assay detects nordiazepam at 100 ng/mL. Other benzodiazepine compounds are also detectable.

UCOKE

This assay detects benzoylcognine at levels of 300 ng/mL and higher.

UFNT

This assay detects fentanyl at 3.8 ng/mL and higher. Structural analogs of fentanyl are also detectable. The major metabolite norfentanyl is detectable at 5 ng/mL.

UOP

This assay detects morphine at concentrations of 300 ng/mL and higher. Codeine and heroin are also detectable. This assay is less sensitive to hydrocodone, which is detected only at high concentrations.

This assay does NOT detect other opioid analgesics.
Specifically, it does not detect methadone, fentanyl, oxycodone, buprenorphine, or propoxyphene. If there is a question of therapeutic compliance or abuse of these drugs, a test for the specific drug of interest should be ordered.

UOXY

This assay detects oxycodone and/or oxymorphone at levels of 100 ng/mL and higher.

UTHC

This assay detects tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) at levels of 50 ng/mL and higher.
