If sickle cell preparation is positive, #HBEL Hemoglobin Electrophoresis Screen, Blood should be ordered for confirmation.

Specimen Volume: 3-5 mL

Specimen Minimum Volume: 0.4 mL in EDTA MICROTAINER

Collection Instructions: Invert 5 to 10 times to mix blood.
