Useful For
The urine hCG test will detect the presence of hCG in the urine and confirm or rule out pregnancy. If the urine hCG test is negative and there is not a urine specific gravity test already ordered on the sample, a reflex order will occur. The Urine Specific Gravity is done to evalute the sample for potential false negative results which could occur in a highly dilute urine sample.
