Patient preparation:
1. Patient should be fasting 10 to 12 hours prior to collection of specimen.
2. Patient should not be on any antacid medication or medications that affect gastroentero-intestinal function, if possible, for at least 48 hours prior to collection.

Collection Instructions:
1. Collect 10 mL of blood directly into special Z-tube and separate as soon as possible.
2. Freeze immediately after separation.
