Collection Instructions:

Gently invert the sample 5-6 times after collection. Ensure the specimen is tightly capped.

Processing Instructions: 

Off-Sites: Send specimen as whole blood, do not aliquot prior to sending to main laboratory for testing.

1. Centrifuge the specimen.

2. Aliquot plasma into a labeled aliquot tube.

3. Deliver the specimen to the chemistry department.
