Specimen Requirements

Specimen Type: Urine; clean catch, cystoscopy, catheterized, or suprapubic aspirate

Container/Tube: Urine Collection Kit-cherry/yellow UA tube or sterile cup

Specimen Volume: 10 mL

Specimen Minimum Volume: 1 mL

Collection Instructions: Follow instructions in Urine Collection in Special Instructions.

Causes for Rejection: Improper storage or quantity not sufficient
